All In The Family

Mom went to play with some puppies today.  I'm not really sure why I didn't get to go ... I like puppies!  I can be gentle!  I'm a good boy!  Anyway, she said they were a little too young for me to play with and she also said that they were related to me.  They are my half-nieces and half-nephew.  Now, I'm not really sure how this family connection works out, but I guess my dog-mommy had another litter of puppies a while ago, and one of those puppies - AJ - is the daddy of this group of puppies with some other Mommy.  There are 6 puppies in this group - 2 yellow (both girls), and 4 black (1 is a boy and 3 are girls).  That's a lot of girls.  That's 5 girls!!!  Any way, Mom went to visit them today and took some photos.  I guess they kind of look like me, but not really.  I mean, I'm so handsome!  Don't you think?

Here's Mom with three of them.  She isn't really sure if the one black boy is in the group or not.  She said she was just grabbin' puppies.  If you ask me, that one in the middle looks a little funny, the one on the right looks like it wants to escape, and the one on the left seems half asleep.

I guess this is what Mom meant when she said she was just grabbin' puppies.

Here they are with their Mommy, Tally.  Tally seems like my kind of dog - she's got a ball.  And I guess that yellow girl with a collar might be ok too.  She seems more interested in the ball than a snack.



I like this puppy too.  It snuck in a little lick on Mom - just what I like to do.

An Aging Beautiful Boy

Mom's been noticing how much grey hair Tuk is getting.  She calls Tuk her "Beautiful Boy" and she wanted you to see how he's changed in the last few years.

Mom's in a tizzy and it's not about us!

Mom keeps walking around asking "where where where are the Cadbury Mini Eggs?"  She says she can't find them in the grocery store, or at Target, or at Walgreens.  She's starting to act weird.  She says they are the best candy in the entire world and she waits ALL YEAR to get them. I'm not sure Tuk and I are going to make it through this weekend!

Here's what they look like.  Maybe you can help Mom out and tell her if you find them in a store somewhere.

We Got New Tags!!! (and I think Mom's cheating on us...)

I think Mom might be cheating on us.  She seems to have a bit of a crush on some doggies in Australia.  Apparently they are GIRLS and very big.  Huh, bet I could beat them in a race!  Anyway, Mom keeps looking at their blog and she keeps saying how they have great collars.  She was searching around on the internet to try to find collars like these two girls (like we'd even like girlie collars anyway), and she found us some new I.D. tags!  They're so cool!  And.... Mom was so proud of herself, they are from Australia. 

Anyway, here we are with our new tags.  Tuk's is a paw print and mine is a dog house.  Mom thinks that's kind of funny, but I don't get the joke.  I think my tag is cool.  Oh, and I guess if you want to go see these girls and their blog, it's here: The Adventures of Kaya and Luna.

The Tree Monsters

There are monsters outside.  Sometimes Tuk and I hear them and we bark and bark and bark and finally Mom lets us out to try and catch one.

We usually run to the corner of the yard.  Tuk thinks that's where they hide.

Apologies for my Mom

She hasn't been taking any pictures the last couple of weeks and this last Saturday my sister Roxy and I were racing around the park and it was a PERFECT opportunity for some glamorous action shots of the two of us.  Did she take any pictures?  No.  hrrmmpphhhhh.

Something Wonderous

There has been something very exciting in our yard the last two days.  Over in the corner, behind the bushes with stickers, the ground has suddenly gotten very wet and it smells so interesting.  Tuk & I cannot keep ourselves away!  Mom noticed it 2 days ago and she has been trying to keep us away from that spot.  Then yesterday the corner of the yard suddenly exploded and the smell got fantastic!  Unfortunately, Tuk really messed up our fun.  When Mom wasn't looking he got right in there and walked on top of all the stuff.  Then he went inside the house with dirty pup-paws.  Mom was not happy at all when she saw the spots Tuk made all over the floor, so now she's shut the barrier to the front yard and we can't get over to the smelly stuff.  We do have strong smellers though, and we can still smell that stuff.  We keep standing at the barrier, sniffing and crying to get out, but Mom just shakes her head and walks away.

Here's a picture of the smelly stuff.  Mom says that it is toilet paper and "things from the sewer," whatever that is.  She says a plumber is coming today.  Not sure what a plumber is, but can't wait to find out!!
